Mission

Founded in April of 2002, the Camden First Community Development Corporation exists to:

• Improve the quality of life for low income individuals by providing housing opportunities that are:   Good, Quality, Safe, Decent and Affordable.
• Improve the quality of life by eliminating racism.
• Provide social benefits.

For Low to moderate income families.

Community Development Corporations

A CDC or Community Development Corporation is a non-profit community-based organization that serves low to moderate income families and neighborhoods.

• Homeownership Training Classes:  preparing individuals to purchase homes
• Child Development Center
• Transitional Homeless Shelter (in conjunction with the United Way): To assist women and women with child who currently have no place to live and qualify under the term homeless by providing temporary housing/shelter and to assist these persons in transitioning from temporary housing to future permanent residency.
